Depression is a complex mental illness that affects your body, mind, thinking, emotions, social networks and habits. Therefore, research supports the idea that a combination of approaches including medicine, counselling, support groups and lifestyle strategies is often the most effective way to treat it.
This brochure describes some of the signs and symptoms of depression, and provides an overview of various types of treatments that have been shown to work, and where to find help.
This brochure is also available to download for free.
